Pathways For Change

Rodney Jones, Transitions Manager of Pathways For Change, guided the ECOH staff on a tour of the Men’s Residential Treatment program, a sentencing alternative to a traditional sentence. There, the staff was able to see faith in action as members of the program participated in classes that help them overcome destructive behaviors, attitudes, and habits that prevent them from living a life free from crime. The program is well-respected for its 80% success rate among graduates. We were then invited to tour the new Pathways For Change Family Center on Blount Street. Chris Collins, Director of Programs, guided the staff though the new center that will soon serve residents of Morris Court, Sanchez Court and Westminster Village before opening to the rest of the community. The Family Center serves as a “one stop shop” for social services, educational services such as GED classes, recovery support groups, and community activities such as tutoring and family movie nights.
